RED BULL "WINGS FOR LIFE" CHARITY AUCTION

Recently, I had the pleasure of taking part in the Wings for Life Charity Auction organised and hosted by Red Bull — a night of food, drinks, good vibes, and even better intentions.

For those unfamiliar, Wings for Life is a non-profit foundation dedicated to funding spinal cord research, with the mission to find a cure for spinal cord injury. 100% of donations go directly to scientific research and clinical trials.

The evening itself was great fun. A proper mix of generosity and chaos, with a buzzing crowd, questionable dance moves, and a lot of shouting over canapés (the auctioneer had range). I donated a hand-finished print of one of my favourite pieces:
“Pokémon: The Original NFT” — a nostalgic nudge at digital ownership, trading cards, and the way we’ve been collecting fictional value since long before blockchain was a buzzword.

Massive thanks to Red Bull and everyone involved — an epic night, a great cause, and the rare opportunity to combine Pikachu with medical science. My kind of crossover.
